A woman in the apartment next to Brooks said she describes as RS Gold

　　Vincent Harrison, 46, and Rakeith Brooks, 30, approached the couple shortly after 4:30 in the 900 block of E. Broad Street, Tampa police said. Brooks pointed a gun at even money. "Give all your money, all you have," Brooks said, according to an arrest report. When the man said that the couple has no money, Brooks has beaten over the head with the pistol, the report shows. Brooks grabbed the woman by the throat and threw her to the floor, sexually assaulted, police said. Later, Brooks and Harrison says that man and woman to lie on the floor before fleeing in the couple's blue BMW 2010, which included cell phones, the iPhone and other items.

　　The two suspects were later identified this morning as police responded to a 911 call from an apartment where a resident reported that a bullet had passed through a wall. Agents responded to the dwelling at 110 E. Broad St, and determined that the bullet came from the house next door. A woman in the apartment next to Brooks said she describes as her friend had accidentally fired the gun. She agreed to the search of the residence where police found some of the items stolen from the couple, including cell phones and the keys to the BMW, police said. In the apartment, agents also found a .380 caliber handgun and a Davis Industries semiautomatic .45 caliber Cobray Derringer one time, according to an arrest report.

　　BMW was later found in the parking lot of the building. Harrison and Brooks, identified by police as a father and son who both denied taking part in the robbery or sexual battery. But the two victims identified the men as their attackers. A witness also told police that Brooks and Harrison had tried to sell some stolen goods, they just took in a "lick," said a police report. Brooks was released from prison in June, served a prison sentence of 10 years for armed robbery, police said. Harrison also served a prison sentence. Father and son were both booked into the Hillsborough County Jail. Harrison faces charges of armed carjacking and trafficking in stolen property.
